Catherine McIntosh married William Neal Raven late in both of their lives. She was his second wife and he was her fourth husband. Everything I know about her birth and parents comes from her death record. She was born around 5 June 1831, based on using her age to count backward from her death date. She was a native of New Brunswick, Canada, and her parents were Norman and Flora (Cameron) McIntosh.

I haven't been able to find the family on the 1851 Canada census.

On 22 November 1855, Catherine married John Hyslop in New Brunswick, Canada. Here's the marriage record from an old county clerk's book:

The 1861 Canada Census for Wellington, New Brunswick shows John and Catherine on lines 2975 and 2976, but it looks like their surname was spelled "Hayslip". Catherine's parents and siblings were living nearby are on line 2966–2971:

In 1871, the census shows John and Catherine living in Dundas, New Brunswick and he is listed as a Hotel Keeper. See lines 7 and 8 on page 51 in the image below:

John died on 8 November 1875 at the age of 41. His Find A Grave page is https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/196791830/john-hume-hyslop

Catherine remarried the following year to Albert Steeves of Moncton, New Brunswick on 23 February 1876. There were multiple Albert Steeves alive at that time and I have no other details about him, so I'm not sure about any other details regarding husband no. 2. Their marriage record is on the bottom half of this image:

I'm not sure if Albert died or if they divorced, but Catherine married a third time in 1880 to Judson Ells of Milltown, New Brunswick. Her name on this marriage bond is Catherine Hyslop instead of Steeves, for some reason.

On the 1881 census, Judson and Catherine were still living in Milltown with whom I assume is Judson's daughter from a previous marriage, Ellen Ells. See lines 15–18 on page 11 in the image below:

I'm not sure when, but I assume that Judson passed away sometime over the next decade, because Catherine was living alone in Milltown in 1891 and marked as a widow. See line 9 on page 20 in the image below:

In 1896, Catherine married for the fourth and final time. Here is the marriage bond between Catherine and our William Neal Raven:

Their marriage would be brief, though, as Catherine passed away on 12 October 1898 in Calais, Maine at the age of 67. Her death record says that she was to be buried in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, which is just across the border from Calais. Nobody has created a Find A Grave entry for her as of my writing this.
